Habanero Infused Honey Recipe
What you will need:
- 1 cup Raw Honey
- 2 to 3 Raw Habaneros
- 2 Pots (Double Boil)
- Cheesecloth / Fine Strainer
The picture is of a 4 cup batch that I put together.
1. Place honey in a double boiler or a bowl nested in a pot of water over medium-low heat. 2. Heat honey to 180 degrees and maintain temperature. 3. Add chopped habaneros (2 to 3 per cup of Honey) for 10-12 minutes.
4. Remove from heat and strain honey into a sterilized jar with a fine sieve or cheesecloth. 5. Cool to room temperature and cap jar with an airtight lid to store.
